SunCoal Industries develops, builds and operates facilities that refine organic waste into SunCoal^® biocoal with the patented CarboREN^® technology, for use in generating bio-energy. SunCoal Industries solutions are focused on two specific customer segments, municipalities and large-scale industrial customers.

SunCoal Industries offers municipalities the technology to efficiently convert organic waste, such as green waste (branches, grass cuttings, leaves) into an environmentally friendly source of energy.

In addition, SunCoal Indsutries offers industrial customers the technology for the production of biocoal. This can be used as energy sources for power plants or as a raw material for the industrial production of syngas and its secondary products, such as second generation biofuels (biomass-to-liquids).
